Sensible Privacy was created for people who simply want practical advice they can understand and actually use.

Every week there seems to be another story about hackers, data breaches, online scams, or companies collecting more information than most people realize. It can feel overwhelming, especially if you're not particularly interested in technology.

That's where we hope to help.

Who we are

We are two privacy-obsessed friends, a digital marketer and a computer scientist. We are based in Bremerton, Washington.

Our philosophy

You should be able to decide what information you share, who you share it with, and when you share it. That doesn't mean living in fear or disconnecting from technology. It simply means making informed choices.

Our approach

We try to explain things in plain English. If there is an easier way to accomplish something, we'll recommend it. If a product or service isn't worth your money, we'll tell you that too.

If we recommend something, it's because we believe in and use it ourselves.
